Configuring Notifications (Email & SMS) for Pharmacy POS System
Setting Notification SMS
To enable SMS notifications, follow these steps:

Setting up SMS for Nexmo
Create a Nexmo account.
Access your Nexmo dashboard and navigate to account settings to find the API key and secret.
In the POS settings, enter the API key, secret, and the ‘From’ number provided by Nexmo.
Send a test message to ensure proper configuration.

Setting up SMS for Twilio
Log in to your Twilio account.
Obtain the Account SID, Auth Token, and ‘From’ information from your Twilio project dashboard.
Save these details in the POS settings.
Test the configuration by sending a message.

Setting up SMS for Other Providers
Configure the URL and parameters accordingly if your provider’s API structure is not Nexmo or Twilio.
Define the URL, Send to the parameter name, Message parameter name, and Request Method.
Set additional parameters based on your provider’s API structure.
Setting Notification Email
For Email notifications, particularly used in functionalities like “Forgot Password,” configure the SMTP details:
Navigate to Settings -> Business Settings -> Email settings in the POS system.
Fill in the following SMTP details:
MAIL_DRIVER=smtp
MAIL_HOST=
MAIL_PORT=
MAIL_USERNAME=
MAIL_PASSWORD=
MAIL_ENCRYPTION=
Consult your hosting provider if you need assistance with any of the values.
Note:
SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is commonly used for sending emails. Ensure the provided details are accurate to enable seamless email functionality.
